Welcome to my new blog. I am not sure what is going to be, but we will find out together.    This is a new place for a new adventure.  As my life changes some thing stop some thing s start again and sometimes new things happen.  I hope to explore my thoughts thorough the words on this page. I hope that you will struggle with me and help me along the way.

Let me start with a little info, I can not type worth anything and I am a must terrible speller.  There will be bunch and bunch of mistake, so be kind  but please point them out.  Hello my name is Sam, and this is my new blog.

I am 36 almost 37 and I have bunch of crazy thought and dreams.  I am a Christian, a husband, and a father.   This is a blog of my own thoughts , feelings and faith. I am not her to preach or teach or argue.

Please come along with me as we walk through the thoughts in my head and grow as people.

What are you reading

At some point i said was going to read a book called "Badass Making Users Awesome" by  Kathy Sierra. Well that day has I started it today.  My first thoughts of the book is that there is 286 pages of good stuff.  Well i was kids of wrong, I opened the book and start reading the prologue, like every good book has,  The first page has like 10 word on it and picture.  This is an adult picture book, I am hooked  This is my kind of book. Yes it has a bunch of pictures and a few words per page. but these are good words. I have started treading this book, again, sometimes when you start a  book and it is not the right time in you life. Some times the book does not fit or  the words do not seem to make sense.  So i started this book a couple of months a go and i was in that spot.   I was not open to the words in the book, but that I am restating the words seem to be jumping off the page. Scrum Master Flash

Well I am in IT, have been an IT pro for several years now.  Over a year ago now my mentor and boss walks in after a convenience and says something like : "  I want to do agile project development and I want to use Scrum to do it, I want you to be the Scrum Master and push use to do this" I replayed "OK when?" He said "ASAP" I said "OK I will start learning about Scrum tonight" So i went home and started really learn what scrum was about.  We have been toying with idea for several years now. I even started doing some to the practice my self with my boss not really knowing  it was Scrum. An example of this is every morning when he(my boss) walked in i would go to his office and give him a run down of what i worked on yesterday and my plan for today.  Basically i was giving him a daily stand up so about 2 weeks later we started our first sprint. 1 Peter 2:23 & It all about me

June 1, 2017 I was blessed get to go to a one day conference called Keep Austin Agile. This is a yearly conference held in Austin Texas. It has to do with all thing agile project management.  Which I am now apart of that world so I try to learn more all the time. One of the session at this years conferee was called "Its All About Me! The thing I took away from the session is this: "Everything I say and do is about me. It doesn't matter is I talk to you, about you, or through you. It's still about me. The other side of that is what I say and do is not about you, it's about me." I have been thinking about this, for a week now. i am not sure how this fix in to my life. Every week I go to a bible study the just looks at a chapter in a book of the Bible.
