I wanna go Deeper

I grew up in the Church of Christ, i group up believing in the in Jesus Christ and God. I do not know everything and I am still learning. Something has has always stuck with me. I heard a story once when I was int 6th or 7th grade, so my memory might not be so good.

In the Bible water is used a lot to represent many different things.  In this story water is being used again.  The speaker was telling me that faith is like the a swimming pool on a hot summer day.  Of course summer in Corpus Christi taxes was hot.  I knew what he was talking about,  the speaker kept talking,  his talk went something like this:

"If the pool is our faith, and it is hot out side do we stick our toe in the pool and proclaim  on aw we are good and cool.  No you me and everyone in this room jumps in the pool.  We all get in the cool pool and stay in the nice cool pool as long as possible.  Well that is like our faith.  we can not sick in toe in and say we are good., no God wants us to jump in full force. he wants us to be covered in the cool healing water of his love."

That has been with me for a long time.  It seems like I have times in my live where I am in the deep end of the pool, and God is around me.  There are other times in my life when it  it feels like I am far from God.  My Mind know and understand he is always with me, but some time I need to feel him with me.

Well that is what Feed the Valor is.  I am going to feed the courage inside me to do goo things, better things. I am going to expand my Mind, Body and Soul.  With God Wisdom to lead me and good friends and family to guide me.  God will use me to build his kingdom.

At some point i said was going to read a book called "Badass Making Users Awesome" by  Kathy Sierra. Well that day has I started it today.  My first thoughts of the book is that there is 286 pages of good stuff.  Well i was kids of wrong, I opened the book and start reading the prologue, like every good book has,  The first page has like 10 word on it and picture.  This is an adult picture book, I am hooked  This is my kind of book. Yes it has a bunch of pictures and a few words per page. but these are good words. I have started treading this book, again, sometimes when you start a  book and it is not the right time in you life. Some times the book does not fit or  the words do not seem to make sense.  So i started this book a couple of months a go and i was in that spot.   I was not open to the words in the book, but that I am restating the words seem to be jumping off the page. Scrum Master Flash

Well I am in IT, have been an IT pro for several years now.  Over a year ago now my mentor and boss walks in after a convenience and says something like : "  I want to do agile project development and I want to use Scrum to do it, I want you to be the Scrum Master and push use to do this" I replayed "OK when?" He said "ASAP" I said "OK I will start learning about Scrum tonight" So i went home and started really learn what scrum was about.  We have been toying with idea for several years now. I even started doing some to the practice my self with my boss not really knowing  it was Scrum. An example of this is every morning when he(my boss) walked in i would go to his office and give him a run down of what i worked on yesterday and my plan for today.  Basically i was giving him a daily stand up so about 2 weeks later we started our first sprint. 1 Peter 2:23 & It all about me

June 1, 2017 I was blessed get to go to a one day conference called Keep Austin Agile. This is a yearly conference held in Austin Texas. It has to do with all thing agile project management.  Which I am now apart of that world so I try to learn more all the time. One of the session at this years conferee was called "Its All About Me! The thing I took away from the session is this: "Everything I say and do is about me. It doesn't matter is I talk to you, about you, or through you. It's still about me. The other side of that is what I say and do is not about you, it's about me." I have been thinking about this, for a week now. i am not sure how this fix in to my life. Every week I go to a bible study the just looks at a chapter in a book of the Bible.
